His practice is entirely devoted to the defense of civil litigation with an emphasis on defending physicians, nurses and hospitals in medical malpractice cases; defending municipalities, retailers, manufacturers and construction companies in all manners of litigation, including premises liability, product liability, defamation and conspiracy, contract disputes, wrongful death and other related actions; and defending transportation and trucking accidents. From the Peoria office, Adam provides litigation defense representation in more than 20 counties throughout central Illinois.
He has extensive trial experience, having successfully taken trials to jury verdict and having participated in approximately 20 trials to verdict. He has successfully briefed and argued matters before the Illinois appellate courts and successfully briefed matters before the Illinois Supreme Court.
Adam has been awarded an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rank based on legal ability and ethical standards. He also been recognized as an Illinois Rising Star and Illinois Super Lawyer by Chicago Magazine.
He has been a lecturer to the Peoria County Bar Association, the Illinois Hospital Association, ISMIE, the Township Officials of Illinois Risk Management Association, and the East Central Illinois Highway Commissioners Association. When asked to describe the principles by which he practices, Adam responded, “I love what I do for a living. When people or companies turn to you in a time of need and uncertainty, it is both a great honor and responsibility to assist them in solving their problems. In obtaining the best possible outcome for the client, I think creatively, address the client’s concerns and needs, and provide the best possible value to the client. The reward to the work is not only obtaining a successful outcome for the clients, but also the personal satisfaction of a well-litigated defense and victory over the adversary.”
