Quinn Johnston Receives Prestigious Employment Award
Peoria’s Quinn, Johnston, Henderson, Pretorius & Cerulo was recently named as one of the 2016 Best Places to Work in Illinois. In the category of employers with 15-99 employees, Quinn Johnston was the only law firm state-wide to make the list, and the only Peoria-based employer to receive recognition. Overall, the firm was ranked #19 of all similarly sized employers in all industries throughout the state.
As a firm with a team dedicated to business and employment law, Quinn Johnston is especially honored to be receiving an award based on its own employment practices. The firm has worked collaboratively with employees to develop fair work practices and build a company culture ingrained in client satisfaction and a healthy work/life balance.
“Our clients depend on our understanding of labor and employment law not only to mitigate risk but to create an environment that will both attract and maintain a quality workforce. As one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois award winners, we’ve shown that we not only understand the issues, we’ve successfully implemented them, and as a result, we have a remarkable team,” said Mike Kraft, the head of the firm’s Business Practices Group.
The statewide Best Places to Work in Illinois survey and awards program, established in 2006, was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Illinois, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. The 2016 list is made up of 30 companies in the small employer category (15-99 U.S. employees), 26 companies in the medium employer category (100-499 U.S. employees), and 18 companies in the large employer category (500 or more U.S. employees).
The awards are promoted by The Daily Herald Business Ledger in partnership with the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, MRA-The Management Association, the Small Business Advocacy Council, the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
